WandaVision Episode 5 (Spoiler Free Review)

Don't think I forgot all about the new episode of WandaVision. With my spoiler filled review on the way, there is so much to talk about this time. But since this is for my good readers, that want to watch the show and consume everything themselves here is my spoiler free review of the new episode. WandaVision this week parallels two points of views in the best way in a forty minute episode, a runtime that I had been waiting for. So, let's get to it.
With its all new surprises and twists, episode 5 once again leaves audiences on the edge of their seat once again. This episode specifically tributes sitcoms from the 80's which includes shows like Family Ties and Full House (which starred Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen, Elizabeth's real life twin sisters). Also like, Full House, Wanda and Vision struggle to take care of their own "twin children".
Unfortunately, the Horror of the show has taken a step back this week after the first four episodes and settles itself more as the Marvel mystery that it needs to be for now. A few more revelations have been revealed only to set up a specific episode all of us are waiting for. This episode has a more film feeling to it, giving WandaVision the blend of storyline it deserves.
Once again, Olsen and Bettany are killing it but for this episode's sake, Bettany is the one we should be focusing on. He may have been painted purple and wearing clothes that resemble the male leads of each sitcom that they happen to retcon but he is perfection. Wanda is suffering, no doubt but Vision has this sense of humanity no synthezoid could compete with. From the smile on his face to the fear in his eyes happens to be unbelievably believable that you start feel like he is right there infront of you instead of being in a screen.
With all of that aside, episode 5 ends in a large way, setting all new problems and repercussions on the way to deal with in future episodes as well as future Marvel properties. The wait for a new episode is getting more anxiously exciting and the fact that the internet goes crazy for it is something to definitely worth being alive for in this day and age. Looking forward to next week's Halloween/90's episode.
